Jesse had finished packing his trunk late last night before they’d gone to bed, and now he was sitting in the (almost, their trunks were still there) empty dorm at the foot of the bed looking around the room. Of course, he knew graduation was coming up. Him and Julian had made plans, they’d talked about it. But he also hadn’t expected it to creep up on him so fast. He wanted to leave McKinley because god, after eight years there enough was enough. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t at least a little worried.
Julian hadleft the room early that morning, even before Jesse woke up, or at least he thought his boyfriend was still asleep. His father had arrenged for him to give some sort of speech at the graduation, without Julian knowing about it of course, and now he was stuck with doing that, so that morning he had to be at the Great Hall to polish up some details. He considered bailing on it, but since it was sort of a big day, he decided not to screw that up. The realization of finally leaving McKinley was both exciting… and scary, but as long as he had Jesse by his side, Julian felt like he could acomplish anything. He returned to the room and found jis boyfriend with a weil known frown on his face, although he thought he could read sadness in it also. “Hey babe… You’re okay?” He sat beside him.
Jesse didn’t look up at Julian when he spoke, but chuckled softly and shrugged. “Graduation, huh?” He turned to smile at him when he sat down before looking back down at his hands, “I’m okay. Just,” he shrugged again, and shook his head. “It’s stupid. I guess I’m…” he paused, with a weird sort of smile on his face that didn’t quite reach his eyes, “scared, sad, worried.” Jesse turned to look at Julian again before he continued, “all of the above?”
Julian sat in silence while listening to Jesse, and his heart clenched a little when he heard the unmistakable sound of fear on his tone. And he had it too. The thought of having to leave that place, their home for eight years, more than their actual homes, to face an uncertain world, right between Magic and not, was really scary. He leaned over Jesse and placed his chin on his shoulder, then kissed it gently. “I know… It’s oevrwhelming but… all things come to an end, I guess… Well, all but us, of course.” He winked at him and smiled, then laced their hands together. “I feel it too, babe… I think it’s only normal, right?”
Jesse: “I’m really glad you added the ‘but us’ because I do not need another thing to worry about now,” Jesse said, with a small smile and squeezed Julian’s hand when their fingers were laced together and took a breath. “I know it’s normal. We’ve been here for eight years but I just…” he bit his lip, “I didn’t think I would actually miss this place but I think I might. Not the school, but let’s face it, it’s a shock to everyone I’m actually graduating with the lack of work I actually did for my subjects,” he chuckled, looking back down at his hands again, “and not the people either, I guess I have nobody here to miss. Santana doesn’t even talk to me anymore, and you two were really the only two friends I had… and I hope I don’t have to miss you. I guess there’s nothing to actually miss. And yet, I’m going to.”
Julian chuckled softly, then kissed Jesse’s hand. “Sucks, huh? One can’t see the day to leave this place and when it finally happens… you’re second guessing things.” He sighed. “I think I’ll miss Blaine, most of all. That dork could get lost without me. Well, he’s got Kurt and all, so I’m sure he’ll be okay but… I don’t know… I hope we’re still in touch afterwards.” He placed a hand on the back of his neck, and rubbed it with his fingertips smoothly. “You are never gonna miss me, cause I’ll always be by your side; so bad, you’ll get tired of me, and I’ll still be by your side.” He sighed and looked around. “I’ll miss our room too… So many years as just friends, so few months as lovers… But we have our lives to catch up with, right?” He smiled at him, yet with a deep, yet to show sadness that was building up inside his stomach.
Jesse made a face at the mention of Blaine and sighed, “I think I’m actually going to miss him and Hummel as well. Now, that’s really sad. And the pathetic kind of sad. I’m glad you guys were friends though. At least one of us didn’t ruin being at McKinley by being a stereotypical Slytherin for eight years.” He smiled softly at Julian and shook his head, before leaning forward and kissing him gently, “I could never get tired of you, so you don’t have that to worry about. Or threaten me with.” He looked around the room too and nodded, “it’s going to be strange. Not living here 10 months of the year. So much stuff happened in here, here at McKinley and now… we just have to leave.” He coughed, in an attempted to cover up the slight way his voice choked at that. “You know, I understand why Muggles separate their schooling in like, four year blocks. That must make it a lot easier.”
Julian knew Jesse well. He knew what that cough was for, and his own eyes, blue by nature, got a lot brighter with the tears that were starting to pool behind them. “Yeah… They don’t the chance to attach that to things that much, I guess…” He swallowed hard, the lump in his throat hurting. “On the bright side, we’ll be together, and with our lives ahead of us. We already have our home, and we have yet to make it so, you know, furniture and drapes and shit…” He chuckled. “1.2 kids… One dog, one cat…”
Jesse smiled faintly and nodded, “you’re right, of course. You’re always right. Except when you disagree with me, then you’re wrong,” he joked, winking at Julian. “But you’re definitely right this time,” he swallowed, “we’ve got so much to look forward to and I am. Trust me, I can’t wait to start that life with you.” He squeezed Julian’s hand, “we just have to say goodbye to this life first. Though, we are not having 1.2 kids, because point two of a kid does not sound like an enjoyable experience,” he grinned at him, “and don’t call drapes shit again, they’re very important… kind of. No, I can’t even lie about, I really don’t care about drapes.”
Julian nudged Jesse’s arm. “1.2 kids was just an expression, asshole… And no need to lie. I know just how you’re DYING to pick out the right drapes…” He rolled his eyes playfully, then smirked and hugged hm tight. For a brief moment, the sad tension seemed to be lifted and it was a nice change. “I love you, Jesse… And we’re gonna be alright, I promise…”
Jesse chuckled, “I know it’s an expression, I was making a joke. In an attempt to stop myself from crying, because I don’t cry. Except for the time I thought you’d left McKinley but that’s … different,” he finished lamely, fidgeting. “And I know we’re going to be okay,” he swallowed roughly, “no possible universe where I wouldn’t let that be true. Tomorrow is just another day… away from here. And hey, no detention, no assignments.” He smirked, “it’s going to be awesome.”
Julian smiled. “Well, that’s something, right?” He ran his thumb over Jesse’s cheek and kissed it softly. “We’ll have a different kind of assignments though” He chuckled.
Jesse: “Ugh, can’t you just let me be happy over the no assignments for a day?” He asked, with a slight grin, and closing his eyes, “let me pretend that life is going to be easier, not harder after we leave.” He opened one eye and looked at Julian, “no pun intended.”
Julian laughed. “Oh, no pun indeed. I would hope so! Um… Do you wanna go and eat breakfast?” He patted his thigh and simled fondly at him.
Jesse nodded, and stood up, holding his hand out to Julian, “breakfast sounds great. Last breakfast where we don’t have to think about it. Better make it a good one.”
Julian wrapped his arm around his waist. “Let’s go get stuffed then. I wonder what they made for us today, last breakfast and all…” They got out of the room and down the stairs that led them to their Common room.
Jesse shrugged, “probably nothing special, don’t forget there’s the graduation feast after graduation and they wouldn’t want everyone to stuff themselves on breakfast.” They walked through the halls, and he glanced at two first years who were arguing over whether or not the move one of them had made (in chess) was a legal move, “bet they won’t appreciate how less awesome this place is going to next year without us.”
Julian scoffed. “Please, they’ll be begging us to come back, and we’ll be all: ‘Later, biatches…’ ” He laughed as they walked through the painting hole and headed up to the Dining hall.
Jesse nodded, “that’s true, that’s true. We’ll be too busy being awesome elsewhere.” They made their way into the dining room, “do you… want to sit at the Gryffindor table with An- Blaine and all … those people today? Nobody will miss us at the Slytherin table and, besides, we have to sit in houses for the graduation feast anyway.”
Julian considered it. “Nah, I can talk with him later. Let’s go sit at our table, come on…” He took Jesse’s and they both entered the Dining room, where he nodded along, even highed five and hugged Blaine, telling him that he will meet with him later, then theyt continued their way to the Skyherin table.
Jesse shrugged, “okay, can’t say I didn’t offer though.” He nodded in greeting at Blaine as they passed him before sitting down at the Slytherin table with Julian, hooking their ankles together. “Food looks good… but it always looks good here,” he said with a small chuckle, reaching forward to grab a couple of pieces of toast and piling on eggs, bacon and a grilled tomato on the plate that appeared in front of him when they sat down.
Julian blinked. “You’re…. hungry.” A small smirk drew on his face. “I could think of some other stuff you could eat…” He also grabbed a toast and jam, pumpin juice and a plate of fruits.
Jesse smirked, “can you? I’m intrigued. But yes, I’m starving, I skipped dinner last night.” He took a large bite of the eggs and swallowed, “good, as always.”
Julian bit down on his toast. “Oh, I’m sure I can. And yes, you’re allowed to be intrigued.” He chuckled, and continued to eat in silence, his mind drifting off a bit.
Jesse ate in silence too, savoring the food but smiling softly at the thought of him and Julian cooking their own breakfasts, in a kitchen of a house that belonged to them. “Thinking, babe?”He asked after finishing most of his plate, just leaving a piece of toast he was nibbling at.
Julian was drawn back from thought all the sudden. “Hmm…? Oh, yeah well… Just about… stuff, you know… Things that happened, things that wll or might happen…”
Jesse smiled and looked down at the half eaten piece of toast on his plate, pushing it around absent mindedly. “Yeah, i know what you mean. So long as you’re not thinking about stuff that won’t happen like it might… or will happen.”
Julian chuckled and looked at him. “Babe, stop reading everything I say as if I’m thinking about leaving you or something… It’s never going to happen. I love you, you are my life… I can’t be without you.” He took his hand.
Jesse nodded and swallowed, “okay, sorry. I love you too, of. course. Sorry, i just…” he sighed, and squeezed his hand, “just being an idiot.”
Julian smiled and leaned over, capturing his boyfriend’s lips with a deep, heated kiss, which made some of their classmates groan, to which Julian flipped them the finger and fisted Jesse’s hair hard, pulling him closer. Then he pulled back a bit, smiling against his lips. “You’re not an idiot… You’re just tons of cute… and hot…”
Jesse kissed him back, smirking against Julian’s lips when he heard the other students groan, squeezing his thigh when he flipped them off. He chuckled when Julian spoke and nodded, “that’s true, i am pretty hot. As are you.” “We’re aware,” someone muttered and Jesse shrugged, “you’ll miss our hotness next year.”
Julian chuckled, then mouthed Jesse’s jawline. “That’s right.. You’ll miss us… Sucks to be you, guys.” Julian then stopped and slowly pulled back, feeling very aware of the fact that if he didn’t, he would end fucking Jesse over the dining table and, as alluring and kinky as it sounded, it would have definitely been the wrong move.
Jesse wanted to complain when Julian pulled back but he knew that they should definitely do that, especially when he noticed a couple of professors walk into the Great Hall. “Indeed,” he nodded ij agreement and winked at one of the third years, “he’s right.” He finished off the piece off toast, stil tasting Julian’s taste on his lips. “Do you still have to do that speech tonight?”
Julian sighed, then nodded. “Yeah… Leave it to daddy dearest to fuck up my graduation day as well. As if the damage he has done isn’t enough. That prick.” He huffed, then finished his pumpkin juice.
Jesse: “Hey, it’ll be okay. I’m sure you’ll be a hit.” Jesse chuckled, “I can be your groupie.”
Julian looked at him and grinned. “Oh really…? Does that mean you get to take onto all the responsabilities a groupie has?”
Jesse blinked innocently, “well, I couldn’t be a real groupie if i didn’t so i suppose so.”
Julian smirked. “Hmm… I might just take your word on that now… and test your knowledge later.” He lowered his hand and slipped it right in between Jesse’s thighs and was looking at him while rubbing his crotch with his fingers. Daring was still settled in his gaze, when all the sudden his name was called out, something to do with the ceremony protocol. He groaned. “Fucking hell…” Slowly, he retrieved his hand.
Jesse bit his lip when Julian started rubbing him, but the corners of his mouth twitched up in a smirk. “I’m sure I have no idea what you mean,” he said, deliberately keeping his voice steady, though he didn’t bother to not groan when Julian’s name was called. “Whoever said that is dead,” he muttered, his teeth gritted slightly.
Julian kissed him softly and smiled. “Well, babe… Don’t look now, but if you do kill Snape now, I’ll totally bend you over this table and make you scream so hard, you’ll lose your voice…” He breathe those words agianst Jesse’s lips.
Jesse hit Julian’s shoulder, but ended up just fisting his hand in his shirt there. “You,” he murmured against Julian’s lips, “cannot just stay stuff like that because I don’t think I’ll fare well in Azkaban, not enough you.” He kissed him quickly before sighing, “you have to go, don’t you?”
Julian smiled against his lips, then bit his lower lip sotly before he pulled back. “I can’t? I think I just did..” He chuckled, then also sighed. “Yeah, I have to. Beats the hell out of me just how much logistic goes into reading a piece of paper, or walking down a hall…” He shook his head. “Assholes… YEAH, COMING!” He rolled his eyes. “Assholes…”
Jesse shrugged, “maybe the whole day would just crumble without your obvious intellect and good looks. Now go,” he kissed him again, slowly, before pulling back, “I’ll let you show me exactly what it means to be a groupie later.” He winked at him, “I promise.”
Julian chuckled as he walked away. “No, you have to show me, babe… Bye!” He walked over to where another group of students stood around Professor Snape and then they were all taken outside the hall. Before disappearing through the large wooden door, he turned to where Jesse seated and mouthed 'I love you…', then he was gone.
Jesse rolled his eyes playfully, “right, of course.” He waved, smiling softly and watched them for a moment as the group of students stood around the professor, his head resting on his hand as he did. When Julian mouthed ‘I love you’ at him, he smiled and mouthed it back, before sighing softly. He didn’t expect to see Julian much today, with his speech and all the graduation preparations that needed to be done. Jesse himself had to worry about the fact that his parents might even show up tonight. He didn’t really think his Dad would show up, but he kind of expected his mom too. He sighed, pushing his plate away and standing up, heading for a walk around the castle.
LATER THAT DAY…
Julian had to be down at the Dining Hall long before Jesse or anyone had, because of that stupid speech. He had some breif chances to see his boyfriend throughout the day, hands squeeze, stolen kisses, and then he had to go again. At 4 pm, and with the start of the ceremony two hours away, Julian finally stepped inside his room and fell face first on the bed. They were let go with the promise of being back at least 30 minutes to 6, so they could all take their places. One more thing he wasn’t going to forgive his father for: he wouldn’t be able to sit beside Jesse at their graduation ceremony.
Jesse hadn’t done much today, seeing as he had no role in the graduation ceremony, other than standing in line, and coming on stage when the Quidditch players from the graduating year were called forward, but that wasn’t really rehearsed, their chairs were simply placed on the end of the row. He’d noticed a couple of parents around the place, but was dodging seeing them in case he spotted his own, or Julian’s, neither of which he felt like talking to right now. Besides, most of the parents that were turning up now were the kind of… parents that found it hard to say goodbye to McKinley, or were Muggles, just wanting to look around before the ceremony. And hell, Jesse chuckled, why wouldn’t they? Not often you’d get to explore a magical school. But, in a split second, he noticed his mother and froze, turning around and walking in the opposite direction and towards the Slytherin common room, up to the dorm and didn’t even notice Julian at first, shutting the door and breathing a sigh of relief. When he turned around he saw Julian and smiled, “babe, you’re free from all your very important duties?”
Julian heard the door been shut at his back and he knew that Jesse was in the room. Who else could it be? He groaned, then reached his hand at him, his face still buried on the mattress. Then he turned his head to the side so his cheek rested on it. “Why can’t you be my important duty of this day? I wouldn’t have any trouble in doing you all day long…” He smirked, then wiggled his fingers at him. “Come here, dammit. I need you.”
Jesse chuckled, but sashayed his hips slightly as he walked over to him, “babe, you can do me all day long… starting tomorrow. Until we have to be adults and get jobs but whatever,” he waved his hand, as though the thought was not important (and right now, it certainly wasn’t). He sat down on the bed, before laying down next to Julian and turning his head to smirk at him, “good to know you still need me.”
Julian frowned. “What the hell does that mean…? I’ll always need you…” He leaned up a bit. “Have I ever said or done something to make you think that…?”
Jesse blinked, “I… was just joking, Jules.” He leaned up on his elbow and looked at him, “I promise, I swear. It was a joke. I’m just tense.” He sighed, laying back down again and looking up, “I saw my mother in the halls. She didn’t see me though. But she’s here.”
Julian breathe, a bit more relaxed now, then leaned down and lay his head on Jesse’s shoulder. “She came, huh…? And… what about him?” He rubbed his chest soothingly.
Jesse shrugged non committedly, “I don’t know, I didn’t see him. Maybe, but I doubt it. Nor do I want him here, or in my life, not after…” he sighed and trailed off. “It doesn’t matter,” he shook his head, “they’re not here in the dorm, so I don’t have to worry about it until later, right?” He paused, “you reckon your parents are going to come?”
Julian had his gaze sort of lost, looking at vacancy when Jesse asked him. “I don’t think they’d miss on another chance to fuck up my life in any means possible…” He nuzzled his shoulder, then his neck, which he then kissed softly.
Jesse: “They can fuck up today all they want, so long as they don’t fuck up tomorrow onwards,” Jesse said quietly, “honestly, today is just some formal ceremony telling us something we already know. They can’t ruin that… surely.”
Julian nodded, then purred softly against his skin. “Can we please not talk about them now…?”
Jesse nodded in agreement and shifted so he was straddling Julian and leaned down to kiss his neck, “couldn’t agree with you more. And also,” he ground his hips down slightly, “screw you, have to leave this morning.”
Julian groaned and grabbed him by the waist, pressing him harder down on him. “Babe… you know I had a… ahhh… thing to do…” He rocked his hip up to meet with Jesse’s moves.
Jesse pulled back from where he’d been mouthing at Julian’s neck and pouted, “more important than me?” He chuckled, leaning down to kiss him, sliding his tongue along Julian’s lips. “Don’t worry, I forgive you.” He winked at him, smirking, “but we need to make up for all that lost time now.”
Julian captured Jesse’s tongue wth his lips and sucked it lightly. “Mmm… I couldn’t agree more…” The pasts days had been hell, more so because he didn’thave a lot time to spend with Jesse, let alone that day which had been hectic; so, he couldn’t or wouldn’t hold back any longer. Fisting his hair with both hands and slipped his tongue inside of Jesse’s mouth, their tongues quickly finding their dancing rhythm, pushing each other in and out, as he spread his legs and wrapped them around his waist and pressed him down harder.
Jesse moved his tongue against Julian’s and moaned when his legs were wrapped around him, grinding down again in a rhythm. He nipped at Julian’s bottom lip, “god, I fucking love you.”
Julian let his head to fall backwards when thier bodies started to grind harder; his heels dug on his boyfriend’s small back as he tried to get the most possible friction. “I… love you too…. ahhh… mm…” He leaned his head up and latched his lips on Jesse’s neck, sucking the sensitive skin hard.
Jesse: *moans softly, their hips moving against each other when he hears the door open and a small gasp, swings his head around* Mom! *his dad and Julian’s parents walk in too* Fuck… Dad… hey… Mr and Mrs Bass… *trails off, pausing for a moment, before moving off Julian, glances at him before looking at their parents* What’s up? We were just chilling. You know, graduation being stressful and all. *swallows, ignoring his Dad’s expression*
Julian was so far gone in the moment, he didn’t hear the door being opened. What caught his attention was the sudden turn of Jesse’s head and where he focused to the door, two thoughts crossed his mind, ‘Fuck’ and then ‘Fuck it’. He looked at Jesse, giving his best charming explanation, then he smirked and climbed on Jesse’s lap, his back to him, his face to the door. “Hi Dad. Mom. Yeah, you know how it is. Especially with that speech thing… So much stress…” He pressed his hips down, the smirk never leaving his face. We… just wanted to see what your boys’ room was… like…, Julian’s mom said. “Pretty cool, huh, Mom? Lots of space… to play around. And study and sleep, of course.” He rolled his hips a bit on top of Jesse, as if he was just sitting down further into the bed.
Jesse: “Julian,” Jesse hissed, but it came out between a breathy moan, his eyelid flickered slightly. Their parents were still standing there, when his Dad cleared his throat pointedly. “Jules, we can,” he turned to look at his parents, “will,” then looked back at Julian, “finish this later.” He rocked his hips up one more time, biting his lip, “but later. I can’t,” he dropped his voice to a whisper, trying to not let his parents hear him, but considering the room was quiet they probably could, “not while my parents, and future parents in law are staring at us and they still are.”
Julian chuckled. “Yeah… Talking about a bone killer, huh babe?” They were about to start a new life, and nothing felt greater than to slap it onto the faces of the ones that had made theirs lives so miserable in the past. WIthout stop moving, Julian placed his hands on Jesse’s thighs and kept an icy gaze on the adults in the room. “I bet you always wondered what did it look like, right…? What did we look like…, right Mom, Dad, Mr, and Mrs. St. James…? Well, considered yourselves half served, cause we’re not about to go on full throattle with you guys in the room…”
Jesse: “Trust me, it’s tempting,” Jesse muttered dryly, “because I just want my damn boyfriend naked, and you’re not helping.” He sighed and addressed their parents, “why are you here?” “Gradu-” “I mean here here. Our dorm.” “We wanted to talk to you,” his Dad said, and turned to Julian’s Dad who nodded, “look, boys. We get that you’re… close.” Jesse snorted, before his dad continued, “and we support your choice to,” he waved his hand, “whatever. But do you think that maybe… now you’re graduating, it could be a high school experience? Maybe,” he cleared his throat, “take some time apart. Figure out if this is what you want.” “This as in us, or this as in liking dick, because neither is changing,” Jesse replied automatically, “I thought about it real hard, but since we have a house together, I think I’m gonna go ahead and say we’ll be okay.” He ignored their expression at the mention of a house and turned to Julian, “what do you think, babe?”
Julian looked at Jesse’s Dad as if he had grown a second head and tried to remain as calm as possible. He climbed off Jesse’s lap whne he was donw talking and took a step towards the group, who were actually looking at him like a weird bug. “I think that we were apart from each other long enough to know that we belong together and nowehere else… And yes, we have a house, we’re gonna live together and you might as well deal with it…” They all looked at him like a weird bug, but there was a brief moment of tension and silence, which was broke by Jesse’s Dad. “I hate you… You turn my son into a fag…” Julian clenched his fist on his side so he wouldn’t throw a punch at him, the he smirked. “Then I win, cause he’s the best piece of ass I’ve ever had and the best dick i’ve ever had in my ass… And you hate me? I think I’ll heal eventually.” His blue eyes locked in the old man’s in a visual dare that neither seemed to want it to end.
Jesse actually broke out in laughter at his father’s words, however hurtful they were, and however much he wanted to punch him. “I’m sorry, sorry,” he straighten up, to stop laughing and wiped his eyes, “I just, you’re a fucking idiot, Dad. No, mom, let me finish,” he cut in front of his mom who had started to speak. Jesse knew she didn’t mind he was with Julian, he knew. She’d given him a engagement ring to pass on to Julian, and he hoped his father didn’t know about that because he feared what he’d do. “Jesse, your son who has grown up loving singing, and dancing was turned gay, by Julian? This Julian?” He turned to face Julian, “no offense, babe. I mean that in a good way.” He placed his hands over Julian’s and squeezed them gently before moving to get off the bed so he was standing in front of his Dad. “And Julian’s right, I am the best piece of ass. Now,” he swallowed, shaking slightly, “I want you to leave. I don’t want you in my - our - life anymore. I’m eighteen, legally you have no control over what I do, or who I fuck or choose to spend my spend life with.” “This isn’t a disc-” “No, you’re right.” Jesse cut him off, “it’s not a discussion. It’s happening this way whether you like it or- fuck!” He swore loudly and reached his hand up to his face in shock. Yes, his father had hit him before, once. But he never expected he would, here, at his school, in front of his mother and Julian’s parents.
Julian stood behind Jesse with the hugest grin on his face, feeling nothing but the greatest love and pride. But the moment when Jesse stumbled a bit back when his father’s hand hit his face, he lost all his attempts to stay calm. “You motherfucker!!” He launched over the older and punched him on the stomach which made the older man to bend down, and he was about to punch him on the head, when he felt himself being held back but he was blind with rage and didn’t see how that was. “Don’t you ever touch him again, you hear me?! or I’ll kill you! I swear I will!!”
Jesse was caught off guard for a moment when Julian first punched his father, but quickly moved to hold him back. “He’s not worth it,” he muttered, not able to be heard above Julian though. “Jules!” He yelled louder, “don’t!” He had no intention of letting Julian go until his father was out the room, and it was taking all his restraint to not lunge at him, himself. He took in a breath, looking at both his parents, “Mom, get Dad out of here. I don’t want him at our graduation, and I don’t want to see him again. I’ll talk to you later, I promise.” Jesse was surprised at the calmness of his voice, and was ignoring the throbbing pain as he could feel his face quickly reacting to the hit. “Mr and Mrs Bass, I have no idea what your role in this is, but you should leave too.” There was silence for a moment, before his father was launching forward in an attempt to hit one of them, but before Jesse could react, his father crumbled and he turned to see his mom, holding her wand out, and his mouth dropped a bit. “You boys have a lovely graduation, okay?” A flick of the wand, and his father was floating along, unconscious, behind his mother as she left the room, Julian’s parents still standing there.
Julian ’s eyes flickered with more rage when he saw Jesse’s father going out them, but his biggest surprise was to see his Mom actually stepping in for them. That, Julian would never forget. She hadn’t really been their biggest fan, but she never meddled in or plotted to make them unhappy. He grinned, then nodded at her politely as she floated her husband out of the room, then turned to see his parents. His Dad looked at him like a bug, then walked out of the room. "You better not screw up the speech." Julian blinked and glared at him, then suddenly yelped when he felt his mom’s arms around him and Jesse; he turned to see at his boyfriend with a ‘WTF?!’ look on his face, then his mom pulled back and cupped his face with both hands and smiled; she then took a step back and left the room. Stlll blinking, Julian turned to look at Jesse. "Well… that was awkward…" He reached his hands up to check the bruise on his face. "Your father is an asshole, babe… But I guess you don’t need me to say that to you…"
Jesse let go of Julian after his father had left the room, and only Julian’s mom remained because holding Julian back, was also giving him something to do, instead of punching his dad. He smiled softly when Julian looked at him, shocked, when his mother hugged him and gave a small shrug. “No,” his voice was unnervingly steady, “I don’t. I know he’s an asshole.” He practically collapsed onto Julian, his hands fisting in his shirt, and finally let a sob rake over his body. “Sorry, I’m not… I just I can’t.”
Julian gasped when Jesse practically fell on him. He grabbed him just in time so he wouldn’t fall to the ground, then picked him back up. “Jesse… Shhh… It’s okay, babe… You will never have to see him again. Never. I will kill him if he even tries something again.” Slowly, he took him back to the bed so he could lie down. “Please… Don’t cry, he’s not worth it, remember?” He laid beside him and kissed his forehead gently.
Jesse shook his head, “promise me. I don’t care if neither one of us would get caught, and I know we wouldn’t. But I can’t risk losing you, okay?” He, reached up and touched his cheek gingerly, before nodding, “yeah, ice might be good. But I think I’m going to head to the hospital wing. I never got the hang of healing spells, and I’d rather my graduation photo didn’t have this,” he gestured at the swelling, darkening area of his face, “in it.”
Julian nodded and sat back up. “Good idea. Although I think you look hot…” He winked at him, then stood up. “Let’s go, come on…”
Jesse chuckled, sitting up and getting off the bed, “I always look hot.” He took Julian’s hand, before heading downstairs and out of the Slytherin common room. They walked in the direction of the hospital wing, ignoring the people who look at him - or more so his face - curiously.
Julian glared at everyone that was looking at them. “The fuck are you looking at? Take a picture, it’ll last longer… Ugh” They had just reached the stairs to go up the Hospital Wing when suddenly someone called him out. “Oh, you’ve got to be fucking kidding me…” He turned around to see who it was, and that person, some Protocol guy he had never seen, told him that he was needed earlier than expected and that he needed to go change into his dress robes. Julian groaned and turned to look at Jesse. “Fuck…”
Jesse couldn’t help but laugh at Julian’s reaction to the people looking, “Jules, it’s fine. They’re just admiring what they can’t have.” He winked, before sighing when he heard Julian’s name called out. He knew that meant his boyfriend would have to go and do some other graduation thing and, they way this day was turning out, he wasn’t surprised. He smiled and shrugged, “you’re in demand today.” He leaned over and kissed him softly before squeezing his hand, “I’ll see you later then?”
Julian smiled into the kiss. “Soon, I’ll be only yours to demand” He squeezed his hand back and walked away, back to his room to get a quick shower and get dressed.
Jesse watched Julian walk away, thinking about how much he wished this day could be over after all that had happened so far. But it wasn’t, and if everything went his way, the rest of the day would be just perfect. He turned, and walked back in the direction of the hospital wing, surprised to find it somewhat busy. It wasn’t that it was never busy, but it was usually on Quidditch days, or dueling days. He figured the eighth years trying to get their last pranks in, or the younger years trying to prank them for the last time. He wasn’t there for long, the spell for removing a bruise and swelling was quick and easy and he made a point to remember it later. When he left, you wouldn’t have guessed he had been punched at all.
Julian stood in front of his mirror about 30 minutes later as he finished tying up his Slytherin dress robe around his neck. Velvet black with esmerald green lapels, the House shield on one, plus a pin signaling him as a member of the Quidditch team; his hair still dripping a bit from the hurried shower but not too much to mess up his clothes. He took a deep breath and looked around, taking one last look at his room, their room. So many years and memories came flooding his brain, most of them very good ones, some not so good; but memories is what ultimately makes life worth living forward. He smiled softly, then turned and walked out of the door, leaving his room, the Slytherin commons and going through the painting one last time, then he headed towards the Great Hall.
Jesse hadn’t bothered about putting his dress robes on yet, instead he had it slung over his arm ready to pull on at the needed time. They didn’t have requirements to wear uniforms but they always had to at formal occasions. Even the younger years were required to wear their uniforms, though certainly not as formal as the graduates. He figured Julian would be somewhere behind the back of the stage area and they had a little time before they were needed and although the earlier events in the day had shaken him, he wasn’t about to let them ruin his day. Besides, he was still horny and in the same building as his boyfriend and those weren’t thoughts he could get out of his head. He spotted Julian and smirked, grabbing his arm without saying anything and pulling him into a room.
Julian was already bored with the whole affair. If there was one thing he hated that was waiting too much, and that was what he was doing at the moment. He was hanging out back stage, as they waited for the cue to come and sit on the chairs outside, which wasn’t suppose to happen for a while; Julian huffed, thinking why were they made to be there so early in the first place, when all the sudden he felt his arm being grabbed and he was about to give a piece of his mind to whoever the person was, when he saw it was Jesse. “Jesse! What are you…?” He smiled widely when he saw himself being pulled into a room, the smile soon turning into a smirk. “Awww babe… have you come to make my waiting more pleasent…?”
Jesse chuckled and began kissing along Julian’s neck, then jaw before pressing their lips together in a deep kiss. “I’ve come to make both of our waiting times more pleasant. If anyone calls you away this time, I swear…” he didn’t finish the sentence before kissing him again, and making sure the door was locked behind them. “I know that’s kind of useless,” he muttered, his lips ghosting over Julian’s, “considering a locked door means nothing. But third time lucky.” He slide his hands down so they were resting on Julian’s ass, and pressed their bodies together. He leaned over, nibbling at Julian’s ear before whispering, “I have an idea.”
Julian chuckled but it died soon inside his throat when he felt Jesse’s lips on his own and his hands on his ass. “Mmm… Do tell, you know how I… ahhh… love a good idea…” The built up from being interrupted two already that day was beginning to form in him; he clung onto him and wrapped one leg around his waist.
Jesse moaned softly when Julian wrapped a leg around his waist, and ground his hips forward. With a smirk, he nipped at Julian’s again, and hummed as though he was thinking, but was more being slightly hesitant although it wouldn’t appear so. “You should fuck me hard against this wall,” he muttered, squeezing Julian’s ass, but drawing one hand away to slip into his own pocket to get something. He pulled out a butt plug to show Julian, “would you think about that during your speech? Me, watching you with your come still in me…”
Julian blinked, praying to whatever entity not having come by that sight alone. “Fuck, yeah… You know how you love my cum inside of you, sweetheart…” He crushed their lips together into a wet battle of love, lust and longing, tongues sucking and teeth clashing like their lives depended on it; then he pushed Jesse back and grabbed his arm, then he pressed him against the wall and whispered against his ear, while still twisting his boyfriend’s arm behind his back. “Now tell me… You want me to fuck you right now, or would you rather suck my cock and get me ready for your sweet, tight ass…?” He licked his earlobe. “Whatever you want…”
Jesse grinned when he was pressed against the wall roughly, his arm twisted behind him. He turned his head so he could look at Julian, “babe, as much as I would love to suck your cock all day, I think we’re running out of time. They might notice if you’re not at graduation.”
Julian reached around Jesse’s waist and undid his pants till they were down over his mid thighs, also his briefs. “Mmm… Damn. You know what would it be even hotter…?” He started grinding against Jesse’s bare ass. “You, on your knees and sucking me while I give my speech…” He smirked and sucked hard on the boy’s neck.
Jesse moaned brokenly when Julian started grinding against him, but couldn’t help to chuckle at his next words. “I can just - ah - picture that now. Somehow, not sure the - ohfuck - professors would be as keen about the idea.” He pushed back against Julian, moaning again.
Julian had already undone his pants and was now fully grinding his boyfriend’s ass. “Who cares what they think..? We’re leaving anyway…” His cock bounced out free and painfully hard, and he grabbed and rubbed Jesse’s crack with it; up and down he went, teasing his boyfriend. “You’re so fucking hot, babe…”
Jesse: “You’re just trying to get kicked off stage so you don’t have to do your speech,” Jesse replied jokingly, his voice laced with a moan. “I’m aware,” he said with a slight smirk, “and since we’re both hot and - ah - here with a limited amount of time, stop te- oh -sing.”
Julian groaned, the friction between their skins getting hotter. He slipped his leg in between Jesse’s and spread them as open as he could, the pants mid-thigh limiting them but it was enough. He spat on his fingers and rubbed Jesse’s entrance a bit, then stroke himself before he lined up with him. Julian wished there was a better, more romantic way to do that, but he also knew that they didn’t have too much time, and the sexual built-up of the day made them so horny, the weren’t able to hold back any longer. He spread Jesse’s cheeks open a bit and slowly pushed himself into him. “Oh fucking hell… ohhh…” He latched his lips on Jesse’s shoulder.
Jesse let his hands splay on the wall in front of them, and rested his forehead against it. “Hurry u- fuck!” He cut himself off in mid sentence as Julian pushed him, his hands fisting against the wall slightly at the burn from the lack of prep. Not that he was bothered by it, he definitely wasn’t. He pushed himself back against Julian and groaned, “harder.”
Julian groaned. “Ahh… fuck… nngg…” He then dug his fingers on Jesse’s hips and pulled all the way out, then slammed back in again; then he snapped his hips against him, fucking him hard. “Oh fucking… nnn… oh shit… ahh… ahhh… oh fuck… mmm…” He grabbed a fistful of Jesse’s hair and pulled it back hard, that gave his mouth access to his neck, which he sucked at will.
Jesse: A series of sounds tumbled from Jesse’s mouth as Julian slammed back in, his nails scraping on the wall from the pleasure of it. “Ohfuck,” he groaned as he was fucked hard and his hair was pulled to the left. Julian’s mouth felt good on him and he wanted him to leave a mark. Sure, the robes would cover it up, but it would be there, and he would know it would be there. “Fucking. Love. You,” he moaned between thrusts.
Julian could feel his pelvis slamming Jesse’s ass over and over, his cock pulling out and back in, filling him to the very brink; he latched his lips on his boyfriend’s hard, leaving a small red mark behind. “Mine.” He then grabbed him by the neck and turned it slightly so they could kiss and so he did, their tongues flickering smoothly over each other, while his thrusts got harder. “Love… you.. too…” He slid his hand down and grabbed Jesse’s cock, hard and slick, and stroke it hard.
Jesse smirked, looking debauched, and murmured in agreement, “all yours. And you do such a - ohgod - good job of - ah! - proving it.” He kissed him back deeply, his body bucking forward once Julian grabbed his cock, thanking whatever god existed for the much needed contact. With the build up of the day, and the perfect way Julian was fucking into him, it didn’t take many strokes for Jesse to come, Julian’s name on his lips as he did.
Julian kept on fucking Jesse through his orgasm, which made his boyfriend’s ass to clench on him, over and over, during it. It only took a couple more thrusts and a loud grunt that almost sounded like ‘Jesseeee’, muffled against his neck, and he came too, his hot load shooting inside of him, and he riding his high by still thrusting on him, only slower. He panted, then searched for his lips, hungrily. “Mmm… That was…”
Jesse felt Julian fill him up as he came, and it felt perfect. The thrusts slowed, and he turned his head so he could capture Julian’s lips in a rough and messy kiss and nodded, “hot.” They kissed again, and he nipped at Julian’s bottom lip, “I’d love to just stay here with you, but I can hear people outside, probably getting ready for graduation.” Another kiss, then he paused, and pulled the plug out of his pocket again, and swallowed, “can you?”
Julian slowly came down from his high, even with his cock still buried inside of Jesse. He wiped he sweat beads from his forehead, and after they shared another string of kisses, he nodded at him, agreeing that they had to wrap it up. “Wait… I’m confused… or extremely high on you…” He chuckled. “Who’s wearing that again…?
Jesse chuckled, “I am. I want you to put it in.” He looked at Julian, and bit his lip, “you don’t have to…”
Julian could feel the blood inside his veins boiling again. “Fuck, yeah. I want to… Hang on…” He kissed him deeply one more time, while he carefully slipped out of him, and then he took the dildo from his hand and kissed him again, and gently pushed it inside of him, his own cum making it slick and easier to slide in. “You’re okay…?”
Jesse. relaxed as Julian pushed it in and nodded, smiling at him to be sure, “I’m fine.” He turned around so he could kiss him probably, his arms wrapping around his neck as he did. “But we gotta go.” He kissed him again, quickly, before sighing softly, before pulling up his briefs and pants, fixing them up. He’d dropped his dress robes when he’d entered the room and walked over to get them, shifting a little to get used to the plug.
Julian also fixed his clothes and cleaned his hand the best he could. He then smiled when he noticed Jesse tryiing to get used to the plug. “Hmm… You look hot like that… Maybe we need more toys like that around the house now…” He smirked, then walked up to him and kissed him. “I do have to go now, though… See you after all this is over… Bye.” He opened the door and walked out, then actually ran towards his group, which was already lining up to go on stage. Perfect timing.
Jesse. smirked back at him, as he fixed up his own dress robes, “I believe that’s a conversation we have to have later.” He winked, and kissed him back, watching him leave the room. He glanced at the clock on the wall and groaned, he was already meant to be seated by now. He’d just have to rush. He headed out the door, catching a quick glimpse of Julian, before walking out and hurrying to his seat, shifting to get comfortable once he’d sat down, waiting for the ceremony to begin.
Julian got on the stage they have placed over the Great Hall, and sat on one of the chairs placed there for the speakers and special mentions. As he sat down, he spotted Jesse, looking back at him, and the sudden image of the plug buried inside of him and coated with his cum almost made his own cock to twitch in attention. He winked at his boyfriend and licked his lips.
Jesse smirked back at Julian, tuning out to whatever the principal was saying right now. Something about how they’ve been there for eight years, yada yada. He didn’t really care, until they actually got to the graduating part of it all.
Julian stood up when they had to stay in line and go onto the center stage to recieve their diplomas; also, the members of the Quidditch team were to receive a special pin, marked with the year of their graduation. Because his name started with ‘B’, he went out earlier than Jesse did; he received his diploma and his pin, then he took his seat back on the stage so he could say the speech later on.
Jesse stood up around the time students with n last names were being called to line up, humming to himself. He shifted when he first started walking, but was fine by the time he walked on stage to get his diploma and pin. He winked at Julian as they passed it to him and sighed in relief as he sat back down in his chair because he’d been half expecting to trip, after the bad luck earlier in the day.
Julian smiled like a goof as he watched Jesse getting his diploma an pin; it was like the final realization of what was happening just came crushing down on him. He chuckled when he noticed him walking just a bit funny, but in the end he did it alright. After everyone was settled back down, his time to read his speech arrived, so he cleared his throat and stood up and headed for the center of the stage.
Jesse tuned into the stage intently when it was Julian’s time to speak. He wasn’t even really sure what he was speaking about or for, because he hadn’t asked him. He felt like a bad boyfriend for that, but he also knew Julian hadn’t exactly been looking forward to the speech so he just hadn’t brought it up. He clapped louder than the people around him when Julian walked to the center of the stage, even wolf whistling (which did catch him a glare of one of the professors, but he’d just graduated so he didn’t particuarly care).
Julian smirked when he heard his boyfriend’s wolf whistling and winked at him. “Hey, everyone. All of us that are sitting here in this Hall right now, diploma in hand, we’ve all gone through a lot together. Some were good, some not so good. But whatever happened, it had led us here, to this moment. And to all of us, it means to say goodbye to a lot of things: our chilhood, our memories, our friends…” He winked to where Blaine seated, still a 7th Year, but he was there for Kurt anyway. “But we must always look back on the good things McKinley had given us…” He looked at Jesse. “And to that we must hold, with no regrets, as we’re looking at our future right now. So, we must leave this place with our chins up and always, always do the best of whatever it is we end up doing.” He smirked. “Congratulations, mother fuckers!! WE DID IT!! WOO-HOO!!” He raised his arms up, diploma in hand, then did a small bow.
Jesse couldn’t help but laugh at the swearing, not to mention the scowling look on a couple of the professors at the same time. But mostly he felt… for lack of a better word, moved. The history books wouldn’t exactly say the speech was a speech of legends, but for Jesse he wouldn’t forget it because it was so true, and it was Julian saying it. No regrets, looking at the futures. And that’s what McKinley gave him, no regrets. Because it all worked out in the end. He turned his head and found Santana in the crowd of 7th years behind them and offered her a small smile, which she returned, with only a second’s hesitation. He may have virtually lost her as one of his best friends, but it was nice to know he would have the memories. He cheered along with the rest of his class at the end of Julian’s speech, standing up along with some of them.
Julian took another bow, then turned to look at the teachers on the stage and shrugged at their scowl looks. Fuck them. He was already out of there. He then ran down the stairs and into where all the students were, then headed straight to where Jesse was and almost jumped into his arms. “Hey! How did you feel about my speech? Bare in mind, that WAS NOT what my Dad wrote down for me…” He winked at him.
Jesse grinned at him when Julian reached him, holding him close in a tight hug. He chuckled, “I think it was a fantastic speech… but your Dad wrote you one?” He whistled lowly, “he’s not going to like that.” Another grin, “oh well, right?”
Julian nodded. “Yep. I have to live with the pain now…” He made a dramatic sigh. “Ay, me… What to do..?”
Jesse mocked thought, “I don’t know. That’s a tough one. But I’m sure we’ll figure it out.”
Julian mocked a sniffle, but that was about it. He couldn’t hold back the laughter any longer and he burst out laughing hard, then wrapped his arms around Jesse and pulled him close till their lips were brushing on each other. “How’s that toy inside of you working, babe…?” He gave Jesse’s lips a small lick.
Jesse joined in the laughter, feeling a lot better than he had all morning in that moment. He smirked at the question, “reminding me of you every time I move?” He closed the distance between them, kissing him.
Julian chuckled, then gave him a soft peck on the lips. “Mmm… There’ll be more reminding later on, babe… Now, should we join the party, or would you rather go straight home? I’m fine either way…”
Jesse: “We should… it’s our last time with most of these people. We can’t just leave now,” Jesse replied, “in other words, we should join the party. At least until other people start to leave… wouldn’t you say?”
Julian nodded. “Fair enough. And you’re right… We should spend some more time with them, who knows when are we going to see each other again?” He took his hand and they walked away where they were suppose to wait until they magically transform the Great Hall from a graduation scenario, into a graduation party one.
Jesse held Julian’s hand as the scene changed, and couldn’t resist smiling softly. He loved magic, he really did. He could learn to live without it on a general scale, but he knew he could never actually live without it for good. There was just so much he could do with magic, he could never go back. He shifted his potion subconsciously as he was standing there. When the scene had changed, there was a dance floor, and Jesse automatically pulled Julian over to it as other people also joined. He put his arms around Julian’s neck and smiled at him.
Julian looked around and smiled, as he watched the room changing before his eyes. Then he smiled, when Jesse pulled him into the dance floor, a slow music already sounding in the background. He wrapped his arms around his waist and leaned their foreheads together. “I love you… We did it… We actually fucking did it…” He smiled at him softly.
Jesse hummed along softly to the music and nodded, looking into Julian’s eyes. “We did. We really did.” He grinned, before leaning forward to press a chaste kiss onto his lips and sighed, content.
Julian pressed his lips back on Jesse’s, the kiss soft, almost chaste, which was ironic considering just what they had done, not an hour ago. But during that brief moment, while they swayed side to side, the warm intimacy of their bodies, the thought of everything theyhad gone through, and the notion that they had triumphed in every sense, was overwhelming. And the soft kiss, the slow dance, the murmur all around them… It all added up to a wonderful finish.
